While we prioritize planned placements with thorough impact assessments and orientation visits, we understand that there are situations requiring immediate care placements. If our capacity allows, we consider emergency referrals that meet certain criteria. Our 24/7 emergency referral service aims to assess the possibility of providing a placement upon receiving the initial request.
Upon considering an emergency referral, we request additional information to match the referral with current residents. If the placement is agreed upon, we schedule a placement meeting as soon as the child arrives at our facility to establish a placement plan with the social worker and the child.
